Since I've recently cancelled my account and won't be back until monks come out I do have a couple of requests.
1.) Different Styles or Forms of martial arts. Lore training can reflect aptitude in particular style like how wizards can concentrate on one particular element.
2.) AoE abilities, mass knockdown.
3.) Unlockable skills/spells. What I would like to see most of all in monks is that since they won't require weapons or armor to fight there should be another way to differentiate themselves from each other...besides the massive gear/rat wheel grind.
In this way, I would like monks be allowed to unlock certain unarmed combat skills. Say 5 different unlockable levels for one particular unarmed combat ability or monk spell. A monk can only concentrate or distribute his skills into a certain direction/skillset.
I.E.
kick-> Roundhouse kick -> Flying side kick -> Power Kick -> Death's Scythe etc.
These unlockable abilities will use exactly the same system as the warrior guild. You can only train a certain set amount of abilities permanently.
