So my baby is still cooking in the oven and the tummy is getting rather large...

The lady likes to have a pillow between her leg, and she's not supposed to be sleeping on her back anymore. She's roughly 18 weeks right now. I'm looking to buy her some sort of pregnancy pillow for Mother's Day, but there's so many to select from, and they range from all sorts of God awful prices.

So, I was curious if anyone here who has been pregnant could relay some advice if you've ever purchased such a product. The "snoozer full body pillow" looks divine, but it's rather expensive.

ANY MUM'S HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS/REVIEWS FOR ME?

A full body pillow of almost any kind works. If it actually says "pregnancy pillow", it's only to jack the price of a full body pillow. To be honest, there are more fucked up births now a day, more then ever. Just let her sleep however she wants, and ask her if she would like one.

Obviously, I'm not all ragu, but I've had four kids with the wife, and I swear doctors make shit up just to boost sales of certain companies. Let her sleep how she wants, just help her along and keep communication open so you don't irk her(that's easy to do while all knocked up).

Good luck.

Quite possibly the best thing I ever got my wife to help compensate for the growing belly during pregnancy.

I picked up an oversized body pillow from wal-mart and it worked like a charm.

I just used a full body pillow behind my back and one between my knees, that way I could kind of still feel like I was laying on my back, the belly wasn't being smashed by being on my side.. I never bothered with any of the pregnancy pillows and it was fine.

As for the dr's telling her to not lay on her back, I dont know if this was the reason or not but a couple reasons for it is that blood pressure rises and heartburn is or could be bad that way.

Thanks for all the positive replies, save for the three I'm about to associate comments toward.

Definitions of spic on the Web:

Spic (also spelled spik, spick, or spig) is an offensive ethnic slur used in the United States and occasionally in the United Kingdom for a person from Latin America or of Latino/Hispanic descent, sometimes including Spanish and Brazilian persons. The term is generally not capitalized. ...

Curiously, I didn't think the theory of Darwin was discovered in your era of schooling. Being born in the Civil War era and not having gone or graduated to college must make you rather sophisticated, hmm?

Fe fi foe fum! The first thing I ever think about when reading a post of yours is how fat and spaniard you look. My apologies, sir, but it's truth. Rhett hates fat people.
