Eh, the roundtable discussions obviously won't appeal to everyone. They're for people to ask the GMs about their projects up-close and personal, providing contrast to the speech-type seminars.

Yeah...I haven't really had a good impetus to go to Simucon, although Vegascon was fun as hell. But for the fun factor, Vegas > New Orleans > DC > 90% of other US cities > St. Louis > LA.

I'm sorry...but I've already done the Budweiser brewery tour...what exactly else is there to do besides what I'm seeing in these YouTube videos? Maybe if I end up in St. Louis for business that week (I go there about three times a year) I'll fork over the money to go, but I'm not making a trip out there just for it.

LOL, I'd forgotten he got the henna stuff on his forehead, I'm in there too.

As far as CON goes, I had a good time, met some great people and roomed with Alyias and Sirina who are very nice and great people.

It was fun, but not as much fun as I expected. All the GMs and players were awesome. I don't think I'll ever go again, just because I think I'm kind disenfranchised with the game. Everyone that I met was very cool, and it is kind of neat to meet all those people with similar interests to you.

I will say this, there are lots of clicks, and had I not been a GM I'm certain I would not have had as much fun as I did (because even as a GM, there are GM clicks also). There is also a bit of drama.

I'm glad I went though!

The fact that you can see bottle caps still on some of the bottles doesn't matter. It just means they smashed the bottom of the bottle and drank it like that, which is fucking hardcore.
