will mfire only be usable by rogues or rangers, or can other professions use them like clerics/empaths/sorc?

You concentrate intently, focusing all your energies.
With instinctive motions, you weave to and fro striking with deliberate and unrelenting fury!
You swing a large butcher's cleaver at a stunted oak tree spirit!
AS: +390 vs DS: +147 with AvD: +29 + d100 roll: +14 = +286
... and hit for 131 points of damage!
Amazing strike enters one side and exits the other, neatly cutting the oak tree spirit in half!
To your horror the two parts rejoin a moment later.
You swing a large butcher's cleaver at a stunted oak tree spirit!
AS: +390 vs DS: +337 with AvD: +29 + d100 roll: +51 = +133
... and hit for 13 points of damage!

Your flurry of strikes leaves you off-balance and out of position.
Roundtime: 5 sec.

Subject was Mstrike, I didn't notice the mfire references until you pointed it out.

how exactly does the Mfire work? are ya actually pullin two arrows from yer quiv or wherever or do ya just hit twice with the same shot, doesn't make much sense to me, gonna have to explain i guess.

You shoot with multiple arrows at once.

Since you can't get two arrows at once, that kind of makes me wonder, as well.

The mechanics will be changed to make it work. I believe it will max at 3 arrows at once. I dont see how this skill is worthwhile because there are very few archers who will/can train in CM as well as Multi-Opponent skills. Personally I find sniping to be much more effective.

I think the messaging will be that you move quickly and pull out the arrows, rather than shooting them all at once.

I'm not even going to bother, personally.

very few are. I went with brawling instead of CM and MO. It works for me.

I've had times, albiet very few, when I put an arrow into both eyes, head and neck and somehow managed not to crit the damn thing. At that point I wish I could've just emptied another three shots into it at once to take it out.

I thought it might require you to have a bundle of 2-3 inhand to fire all at once.

I really do hope it doesn't require ranks in MOC. Still waiting for shadowmastery to be released to see if I'm staying at 35 ranks or moving it in either direction.

Generally, if you crit everything above the shoulders and don't kill it, shooting at the chest/abs is probably the next best place to go for.

hey, changes are on the horizon, i don't see how this is irrelivant, and i for one know KillJoyMP hasn't been around in a good while, so he is entitled to post on old threads. plus...he reads slow.
