The weather today made me think about buying a new pair of sunglasses. I still have my wire-frame Armani’s but they are now at least 5 years old. $5 dollar supermarket sunglasses are just as good.

Ray-Ban is making a nice aviator/glam pair.

Do any lens wearers use Transitionals? Any good?

I tried them for about a week or so but I didn't care for them. Took a moment for them to kick in and sometimes i would be inside and they would go off. Also, they didn't even come close to being as effective as regular sunglasses.

I got a pair of plain, anti-glare prescription sunglasses last time I went to get a new pair of regular glasses. I only need them for distance, and it's so freaking nice to be able to drive without being blinded. Never tried transitions, but my mom has a pair and I believe she likes them.

Oakley's with any kind of wire frame. I have an A-wire 2.0 Ruby with 95% light reduction (polarized.)

There just aren't any other sunglasses.

Oakleys are worthless in comparison to Costas. If you are looking for the function before the fashion, check them out. Best quality out there, hands down.

Found the pair while walking through Solistice today. Of course, the pair that looked the best on me were Gucci. $275 in the store, the manager emailed me a coupon for $50 off, which was really cool of her. But I found them on the web for onluy $175 + shipping.

There was a really nice pair of Maui Jims but I’m sick of the streamlined metal and black. These are more frivolous but damn smart-looking.

My lil-sis looked great in some big black bug eyed Armanis.

I'd kill for snow right now. Hell, i'd kill for snow during the WINTER. I hate summers down here and it's already freaking summer weather.

Weather aside, the south is full of win. Beer tub girls, amazing BBQ, hot blondes that say Chriiiiis with that delicious drawl. Makes my heart go pitter patter.

Get a pair of Gucci/Fendi/Prada eyeglasses if you like them being all the same.... ....In Chinese people stealing their logos to emboss/die-cut on street foakleys to bring up the value + sunglass quality on par with a pair of rec-specs equivalents to what their knock-offs are portraying.
