You'll need to get a hold of a ranger who has at least 40 ranks in mana share...

The gms thought 80 mana rods were to overpowering for rangers so even making a rod is a pain in the ass.

There's no way of telling how much a rod can hold short of filling it up. It's a random number based on the Ranger's skills. So... hope you don't get hosed.

I can do 80 mana rods about 75% of the time, at 36 ranks of Mana Control. But of course, I normally don't do stuff like that for others, given certain exceptions.

i have 35 ranks of mana share, havent experimented with the rods too much recently though. The amount of mana the rod can hold is based on age, mana share, and ranks in the ranger circle though. Im sure there are people out there who can do them easily though.

edited because i was just reading all the posts on wizards and put in wizard circle instead of ranger circle.
