as the title suggests, I QUIT! I'm done. I freed myself from the gemstone curse. All accounts are canceled. It's been fun, but I think it's for the best that it's finally over for me.

Hell yea, the 4x returning dagger, all my armor, ect, ect, ect. Not to mention the shield I JUST bought.
Is someone going to start a poll to see how long before he comes back?
about 2 months I'll activate Gib's account for a month just to get his playershop emptied and sold. Other than that, good luck with that poll. I'd start it if I knew how.

Just sell everything now. Having it sitting around is just an excuse to come back, believe me. Sell it all and cut the ties.

You'll remember me every time you see an empath heal faster than you do, cause it's probably the script I just wrote for "that guy" in TSC. I told him "NO, I won't help you make a vulture script" until he told me Tayre's bitch ass is the reason he wants it. So fuck off Drew. Wow, now I feel better.

Which in turn caused me to write a bot script that responds to anyone asking for healing, making it heal faster than anyone can possibly heal with SF or Wizard (i use a third party engine). That empath now leaves the room when I'm there, as he should.
So fuck you very much.

The one time I had any real interaction with Gib beyond him picking boxes for me he turned out to be a total douchebag. And during that interaction I had at least 2 people whisper me along the lines of 'Good job for not bending over for him like everyone else seems to'. Apparently he thought because he had a capped rogue he got to do what he wanted? I'm not sure.

Curiosity brought me back after more than four years, and I didn't have anything. Not even a character. And you're going to sit on a capped one?
Not selling him seems like a huge mistake. There's no need to be sentimental if you're not returning. It's like keeping a cat in the basement... it won't happen for awhile, but soon enough you'll get an undying urge to cheese your balls off.
By the way, did you roleplay a douchebag?

Although the floating platform is suspended well above the ground below, it overflows with abundant plant life. The edges of the dais are brimming with delicate white queen's lace, dark lavender, fragrant rosemary and a variety of other colorful flora. You also see the Gedron disk, the Gibreficul disk, the Wulfguy disk, the purple Colleal disk, the sparkling Syphaer disk, a sleek raven that is flying around, a sleek white-bellied hawk, a large faenor-chased barrel, a richly finished wooden bench with some stuff on it, a glaesine arch and a medicinal donations bin.

The roadway rises slightly above the swamp. From the appearances, someone has purposely built a small hillock here atop which two massive granite sentinels stand, silent and unmoving. No method of circumventing the sentinels presents itself. If one wishes to continue along the road in an easterly direction, one must pass between the sentinels. Westward the road slides into the swamp and fights to stay above the sucking mud. You can go to Dueler's Arena under Pure only deaths to see the conclusion. No sense in posting the same log twice.
By the way, did you roleplay a douchebag?
Hell yea I did. An egotistical maniac. A self absorbed prick. If I wasn't the guy behind him, I'd think Gibreficul was a total asshole too.

Not to play the devil's advocate here, but that log makes it look 3-1 against Tayre. Not very nice odds....When Wulfgar bound Tayre, he got involved. If there's a fight between people, jumping in doesn't make very good for your case.
Tayre could have done much more to be a prick in that, I hope you realize that.

Yeah. From that log, Foxs attacked first AND Tayre was outnumbered. Dude, he was already bound when you attacked him (mad skills there).

The log only makes you look like more of a douche. You were gearing up to kill the "only cleric" well before Tayre even left the sanctuary. The "only cleric" can cast sanctuary, and easily bound Tayre for Foxs to kill.
I've never seen anything that would indicate you aren't a douche. Even your posts here scream douche.

He's explained this many times on the officials. I can't remember the exact reason, but it has something to do with script syntax or something. Something about a four letter word being too short for something.

God, I thought you people were smarter than that. Re read the log. I didn't edit shit from it. Wulfguy raised Foxs after casting BIND at Tayre. Raise RT is 45 seconds. That bind lasted for about 22 seconds. Immediately after Wulfguy raised, Tayre's bind came undone, and he cast empathic dispel at Wulfguy, obviously preparing to cast something deadly at him. (If I remember, at least 310, and 313 fell, that's a lot of Spiritual TD loss) I stopped it. The subdue was out of line, I can't say it wasn't. The cutthroat was merely a defensive act protecting a cleric from a coward.
Now, the fact of the matter is that Wulfguy should've raised Foxs in a major sanct, to protect himself from a punishment for having his newly raised die while linked, especially with someone that is kill happy like Tayre there. He did not. I covered his ass. It saddens me that it had to be for the benefit of Foxs, and that you all side with Tayre because he sucks a better dick than I do.

Then Wulfguy raised, the bind faded, Tayre cast empathic dispel, and I cut his throat. Read the log, understand what happened before you start posting stupid comments. For the record, if Tayre had cast at Foxs and only at Foxs, I leave him be. Not my fight. Fact is he went right after the cleric, right after a raise. That's cheap and cowardly.
Why do you use

I have my repeat buffer set ignore commands 4 characters or less. HIDE GIB doesn't change anything about the command, other than adding a couple useless characters so I can slam the repeat key when I'm trying to hide in roundtime.
You were gearing up to kill the "only cleric" well before Tayre even left the sanctuary.
I wasn't gearing up to kill anyone. I protected a cleric, and a friend who just raised/was raised and who was experiencing at least 20 seconds of Roundtime while a dickhead named Tayre was going to take advantage of the situation. I don't blame Drew's loose asshole for being mad at me. I do think he's a coward who should have said something to me instead of casting a cloud at me and running like the little bitch he is in game, and IRL.
Anyway, post your lockpicking script plx

Being capped doesn't mean you can't be a moron. From your unedited log...
Tayre suddenly appears in a flash of brilliant light.
Syphaer just opened a deeply hooded black cloak edged with a thin band of twilight grey runes.
Tayre kicks some dirt on the corpse of Foxs.
Syphaer put a fine orase runestaff in his hooded black cloak.

Syphaer just closed a deeply hooded black cloak edged with a thin band of twilight grey runes.
Wulfguy traces a sign while beseeching the spirits for empowerment...
Wulfguy gestures at Tayre.
CS: +435 - TD: +390 + CvA: +12 + d100: +62 - -5 == +124
Warding failed!
Tayre suddenly stops all movement.
Notice Tayre had ZERO interaction with the cleric. I like Wulfguy, but if he didn't want none, shouldn't have gotten involved. Tayre can be a dick but you've got no backing on this one, champ. Taunting a dead person is not the same as fucking with someone's raise. Sorry for you. :(
Gangbanging someone 3 on 1...<That's cheap and cowardly.>

I read the log, I understood what happened, and yet it still doesn't change my previous point. Wulfguy put HIMSELF in that situation by binding Tayre FOR FOXS why wouldn't Tayre retaliate against Wulfguy? The fact that he's the only cleric around shouldn't hold any bearing when he puts himself into the situation beyond simply raising. It's not Tayre's fault that Wulfguy didn't think it through enough to account for the raise hard RT.

All you did was take advantage of a situation to kill someone you don't like anyway. Go you.

Go over the list of posts i've been making on the BBS for the past few months, and maybe even longer than that. If nobody actually took the hint that I was totally fed up with the game, and namely the status of rogues, then you have some serious comprehension issues, even if I tended to coat them with sarcastic undertones. That was merely to keep from insulting those GMs who actually do stuff. My decision was far from sudden.
