I don't attribute level to skill at all, really. Just figured if someone was in the game long enough to be a Great Lord, they'd be able to figure out basic container use.

quit being the slappy police OP. The justice mechanics gets goofy, and losing all your gear in an hour because you cant find/figure out where to go and how to recover makes some folks nervous. (Especially nice quiet folks who never break the law and make it to 40+ the first time they whack someone on accident.) Not everyone was weened on GS and I see a lot MORE retarded questions on general TN then that.

Now granted I would have whispered or thought to someone, but that is me. Some folks hope for more assistance then being put up on the PC wall of shame ;)

Wasn't Warclaidhm a great lord?

I don't think he made it to 50 or whatever the Great Lord level is now. Haashek did though, and he was probably even dumber than Warclaidhm as far as hunting went. I think Warclaidhm at least knew the concept of stance dancing. Haashek knew nothing but ATTACK and STANCE OFFENSIVE I'm pretty sure.

Keffal was another one that died 472309842 times a day too, at least in OTF. If you saw him cross the barrier, you might as well get ready for a rescue because one would always be needed a few minutes later.

Anyway, I'm with everyone else about Kimbal. So, he asked a perfectly legit question. Doesn't mean he should be put on PC about it. Hell, I imagine plenty of us have done the exact same thing that would be laughed at by others.

Luckily, I got all of my noob out of me in the month or two I spent playing GS3 about 9-10 years ago and managed to retain a good grasp on GemStone basics when I started back up

Not so interesting really, one of my characters decided to head off to RR while i decided that booze was a great idea, got in the barrel and a MONTH later i still hadn't worked out how the hell to get her out of the barrel, so..... I had to swallow my pride and ask on the forum as i didn't have an amulet on me and i didn't have Psinet at the time (plus i was so bloody embarrassed about the whole affair i didn't want her name to be linked with such a silly event!!)

And yes I know now it was something really really simple like 'go out' and to this day i don't know why i couldn't work it out, all i can put it down to is the sheer embarrassment of the situation, frustration, panic, fear of having her live in a barrel for the rest of her life and simple mindedness, booze may of played a small part too :spin:
