I have recently decided that distance sucks. I'm sure you all will agree with me. Personally, I've been trying to spend some time with the woman I'm marrying for about three weeks now, and each time we seem to get screwed out of our plans because of work, or something else that comes up. It's beginning to frustrate me to end.

*sigh* I wonder if anyone else has this problem.

Yeah, distance use to suck, till I moved down to where my baby lives, now it's not to bad, we both work pretty much the same hours. So it's easy for us

Yeah, distance eats. My girlfriend lives 5+ hours away, so breaks and summer vacation was always no fun.

Distance is a destroyer.

Am I to take it that the old adage "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" has outlived its usefulness? :(

All I know is this.. and maybe this is unique, I dunno. Whenever my GF would do her Summer thing, when it was over, I so wanted to jump her bones, but she had to "re-adjust." WTF?

Said "readjustment" is a woman-thang, Backlash. It is expediated by lotsa Bailey's, flowers, precious gems, credit-card sprees, and the like. It is not known to last over 30 seconds if caught and treated in time. ;)

HarmNone knows of this malady

Distance is fine in some cases, but definitely not a pleasure in relationships.

Well, shoot. And here I was tooting my own horn about not being the only person on the PC to catch one of Sean's many accounts.

Try other countries. I kept the same girl from high school thru her going to college and me going to the Marine Corps. We are married and happy now. Make it work or move on, if alittle "distance" stress can kill it then don't let it get too serious.

loin des yeux, loin du coeur

far from eyes, far from the heart?

Distance is indeed a killer, more if your hormones are on fire.:D

I agree with Lil Boom..er...Anticor. It depends on the the two people involved, their feelings for one another and their determination to make it work. If you and yours are determined to make it work, and you guys love each other that much...and both willing to make the effort...it will work for you guys. Temptations are great, but real love is even greater.

Oh my God I know that sounded so cheesy and I deserve to be slapped hard but it really is true ::crawls under a rock and hides in shame::
