I know you guys have missed my presence here, but i did a 25 mile road march last night\this morning and i'm fucking hurt. I had strained hamstring before we started and it was cool while marching, but then after we finished +4 hours my shit freezed up so bad and i can barely walk now.

Was still the first one in my troop done though.

Just thought i'd share my pain, because bitching to everyone on my aim list didn't seem sufficient.

I know how you feel bro, best thing to do is set an appointment with Captain Morgan hand his friends Jim and Jack. They should have you feeling better soon enough.

Lol. I also carry a 70 lb ruck ;) but good for you. I usually clock in around 40 miles aweek myself. Of course i usually carry a heavier ruck too, but i've been injured hence the lower weights and the pain.

John,
On a side note you tried out the molle gear yet? Been using it for about 4 months now. Its alright but there are some obvious design flaws.

No.

I make it a point to use what the lowest rank in my unit is issued.

Really? Your unit hasn't made that standard yet? Interesting, but i guess we do get a little spoiled up here at lewis.

Is that a real deployable unit or are you involved with the AIT portion for the 31 series? I believe Ft gordon is where my buddy got his training for 31R.

deployable.

Unit went through SRP two weeks ago. Going to Iraq in Janurary.

I will be at Camp Adder but mostly on the roads. A officer or E-7 has to lead every convoy. I refuse to put others in danger because I am lazy so I will be on the road a lot.

Cool, well good luck man. My buddy i was talking earlier is the 101st and has been there for almost a year now. My unit is supposedly going sometime after april, but we'll see how that goes and how long i'm in the unit. I'm applying to Green to gold and from everone i've talked to they say i got a pretty good chance of getting it. However, i dunno how that would work with deployments so we'll see how it goes. I don't mind either way.
