I'm curious if there's any non padded plate base eonake armor out there. Let me know please!

There's a lot of sets floating around.

The problem is getting someone to sell it to you for less than an arm, leg, your unborn child and the patent to your genetic code.

True, and that's mainly what I'm in search of. Thanks for the positive note though.

I'll dig around.

I might still have a set of full plate somewhere.

That would be great if you could take a look for it. Thanks!

How mechanically advantageous is this that it warrants 10m for 4x armor?

Shit, I have armor made out of vaalin. What is it, just like, a rarity thing? Who's going to be using bearhug on banshees?

Eonake armor and shields can be imbued with Plasma flares from Guiding Light (1608).

Paladins can learn Bull Rush which would give the armor a chance to flare. If it's full coverage armor... paladins still can't learn Sweep to take advantage of that.

Shield Charge and Shield Bash would also give a chance for a flaring/spiked shield to go off.

Overall, completely not worth the prices people are charging for eonake armor/shields. Hell, even the weapons are overpriced. 62 eonake slabs went out at EG. A certain someone managed to waste a good number of them on a boatload of useless eonake handaxes, as if we didn't have enough of those floating around. Eonake weapons are grossly overpriced to the very small number of swinging clerics and sub-25 paladins, or paladins using Two Weapon Combat who would conceivably need a sanctified off-hand weapon.

...

WHO WOULD DO SUCH A THING?! Were they, maybe, at least trying to spite someone to get even with them, or test some weird mechanical thing? That's such a waste. Argh.

I'd pay an unreasonable amount for eonake full plate, since I've never laid eyes on a set. Mostly what folks have is hammered eonake half plate and the double-linked eonake hauberk. I prefer the half plate tho, as a paladin. A bit easier to cast in with the head uncovered. Hope that helps.
