Who can help me with this, please? I want to know the spell hinderance when wearing the various types of plate armor, particularly minor elemental spells. Thanks in advance.

yeah hindrance, it's early and I aint got no coffee in me. That chart is a little hard to read. Let me see if get this right, it would take 290 ranks for armor use to have the %22 spell failure in full plate?

Don't have psinet, I've always wanted to grab it, just haven't yet. Where can I down load it? Regardless, was my assumpt correct about the armor ranks?

Or is that number you highlighted in red the number of ranks needed for the 22% hindrance?

You need 290 ranks to get to 20% MnS hindrance and 330 ranks to get to 22% MnE hindrance. Although I haven't found a superbly accurate formula for undertrained spell hindrance yet, a good benchmark is 1% per rank, so even at 303 ranks you're going to be pwnd by MnE hindrance in full plate.

You could always do MBP instead, though. :D
