Been out of the lands awhile. Going to liquidate some assets. Any thoughts on value appreciated.

mithril claidhmore - typical

massive ebon sword-belt - one of them weapon displaying items
SHOW: You glance at the sword-belt. The belt is woven with the darkest shade of ebon spidersilk, which seems to engulf the sword hilt in shadows. A ruby-eyed arachnid, clutching a thick loop of the belt's weave, secures the weapon. Clasping the ends of the belt together is a massive buckle wrought from finely polished rolaren in a web-like design.

loose fitting white silk shirt - less than 2lbs, pinworn, large amount, o/c

hip-length fringed doeskin vest - also less than 2lbs, pinworn, large amount, o/c

tiny blue laen thimble - ICE age, drink and restores all hit points 1x/day, no training or RT

opal-inlaid polished ebony lotus - selfcharging 3x/day strength

bright silver shield pin - self charging 5x/day brights

rugged vruul hide weapons harness - weighs 2, o/c, pinworn, holds large amount
SHOW: Skillfully crafted of tanned vruul hide, this harness fits close to the wearer's form but doesn't restrict movement. Multiple straps and loops to hold weapons and equipment adorn the harness while a large closeable pocket can store small items and loot.

ancient mithril war claidhmore, +8 oldstyle
SHOW: The war claidhmore has been masterfully forged and appears to be of elven make. The beauty of the magnificent silvery mithril blade is almost surpassed by the beauty of it's hilt. Crafted of dark eahnor, the hilt is engraved with small stars and all phases of the moon from new to full. From the brilliant faenor sun pommel, the moon phases spiral upward around the hilt, ending their cycle at the heavy translucent white glaes hand guard. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

(how did that thing get to be mithril, with enchantment = +8 ?)

superior ora-hafted imflass greataxe - +27, forging bonuses, blessable

onyx-hafted ora roa'ter axe - 7x, blessable

some black steel scale plate ridged with razor sharp vaalin spikes - 6x, HCP, 60lbs, not actually spiked

rolaren-bound sheath - blessing sheath

(what are these again? 10x/day, 20 swings each for 200 swings/day?)

Also, you know those God gifts awhile back that increased stats (or was it stat bonuses?) depending on profession? Are those rechargable any way? Adventurer's Guild? Merchants?

And this is the daddy of them... an amber-set pale golden warhorn, beltworn
SHOW: The pale horn is long and gently curved, and shades from warm beige at the flared bell to rich yellow-gold at the tapered tip. Large cabochons of mottled amber are set in a thick band of gold about the bell. A long strip of cream-colored leather is knotted about small gold loops near the bell and polished gold mouthpiece, providing a secure means of attaching the warhorn to a belt.

Nice for twohanded warriors. Two abilities. Ability to use it based on PT from what I understand. First, if you die and have a free hand, you'll attempt to retrieve it and blow it, alerting others in the vicinity of your untimely demise. Don't have a screen shot of that unfortunately.

Second, you can WAVE it for a special major-fire-type attack. It'll hit everything in the room (apparently also players as you'll see). Takes awhile for it to recharge (about 8 hours if I remember correctly).

Example:
>
A rolton tries to bite you!
With blinding speed, you dodge the attack!
>
You remove the pale golden warhorn from your belt.
>
<Innocent Bystander> just arrived.
>
>wave war
Inhaling deeply, you lift your pale golden warhorn to your lips, and with a mighty blow you sound the warhorn, loosing a high blaring hornblast that echoes through the surroundings. The powerful note builds for a moment before culminating in a thunderous explosion, centered on a ball of fire that bursts from the warhorn's cone! The force of the blast transforms the burning sphere into a rapidly expanding flaming ring of elemental energy!

The roiling wave of fire moves outward from you.
A rolton is buffeted by the intense conflagration and is knocked to the ground.
... 55 points of damage!
Left eye explodes. Sizzling pieces of brain drip from the empty socket.
The rolton lets out a final agonized bleat and dies.
A rolton is buffeted by the intense conflagration and is knocked to the ground.
... 50 points of damage!
Unbelievable heat melts a rolton's hand down to the wrist.
The rolton bleats loudly as he cradles his wounded right hoof.
The rolton lets out a final agonized bleat and dies.
<Innocent Bystander> is buffeted by the intense conflagration, and is knocked to the ground.
... 60 points of damage!
Flames engulf body. Chest left a smoldering ruin.

* <Innocent Bystander> drops dead at your feet!

::spells gone clipped::

* <Innocent Bystander> just bit the dust!
>
Suddenly you have the strangest feeling that you are being watched.
The feeling fades as quickly as it came.
>
You say, "Ack."

I'd appraise the claidhmore around 8-10 million - it's an old altered razor-sharp mithril claidhmore if i remember.

PS - I could be way off

I'd say the claidhmore appraisal is right, the standard mithril claid is worth about 5

My limited knowledge, I'd say that claidhmore appraisal isn't too far off, Mithril one should be around 6 million also.

That warhorn ability is absurdly awesome. The other warhorns have sold for 75m recently, so I assume that wouldn't be too out of range.

High enchant blessables have lost a ton of value, since pretty much anything that isn't weighted/flaring is blessable now.

The pin worn/large amounts I would put at 3m.

The blessing sheath, maybe 1m or so.

I've sold the 3x/day Camouflage belt for 25m. The 3x/day self control (or was it mobiles?) armband sold for a similar amount. I imagine the Strength item could probably fetch 18m or so -- somewhat less valuable since white crystals are relatively easy to get.

Same goes for the 5x/day Brights, except I would be surprised if you got > 5m for it.

6x HCP full plate, probably around 30m.

Kerl sold his with the same ability for 30 mil IIRC.

I wish mithril claidhs were worth 5mil when it took me forever to sell mine for 2...

Actually, Kerl noted that it was him that I bought it from. He remembers 35m, I remember 40m.

FWIW, you can also RAISE it to sound an alarm, heard by everyone in the surrounding area. I used to blow it during invasions.

>raise war
Drawing a deep breath, you raise your warhorn to your lips, and with a mighty blow you loose a low resounding blast from your warhorn!

Roundtime: 6 sec.

Can't do it rapidly in succession, testing now how long between blows you gotta wait.

They run on different timers.. The special ability with wave and the raise alarm sounding. It's about once every 2 hours for EACH ability.

Turned out to be one hour for the wave, half hour for the raise.
