Can anyone tell me how to resign from the counsel of light.

Does the old warrior from the landing still exist? If so, try following him.. I think he would whisper to you how. That's how it was before anyway.. I'm not sure if he would tell you how to do it in solhaven.. But before the bathhouse was put on fire.. you kneel and flush.

It doesn't say anything in the official gemstone forum? If not, I'm suprised.

I think you have to go to the pooh and tell him I resign three times.

Do be aware though, quitting the orginization will promptly send the Poohbahs Assasins your way.

When I quit, they got a little carried away, I think I got the log stashed away on a disk somewhere, I'll dig it up.

A bored GM got involved with my quitting and made it a rather personal vendetta *chuckle* After about a half dozen deaths and being stalked from the landing all the way to Icemule I was finally able to beat the Assasin, I had to go to Voln though and seek the Strength of...oh crud, I forget now!....Anyways, was a blast, though a little deed intensive!

It was the monk who told you to kneel in the bathhouse tapestry and pull the chain three times. Then you entered a certain room where you saw your evil self, and you had the option of trying to fight him/her. But you'd never win, you'd just decay and you'd be out of COL. If you prayed instead, you would be out of COL without having to decay.

I'm pretty sure now you just have to tell Pooh head that you resign. I don't know about doing it three times though....

And why are you surprised that they don't say on the official forums? It's a game secret, you're not supposed to say there. But someone actually did post the answer recently in the COL folder.
