Anyone have any advice for getting rid of this? I think I have it. When I move my right ear around, it sounds like there's water in it. Been dealing with it for a couple of days, and it's getting annoying.

eh, i used to swim a lot. swimmer's ear is a pain in the ass. especially when it gets infected. white vinegar works. some people just take a hair dryer and hold it away from their ear. let it evaporate. personally, i hop on one foot like an idiot with my ear pointed down. that was always good times

Ha! I did that once, and a ball of water fell from my hair into my clear ear (the one pointing up)...I had a double dose of it that time. :)

hahaha..."son of a!"

yeah, what i absolutely wouldn't suggest is a q-tip. rubbing an infected ear canal is a guaranteed way to fuck your shit up.

Go to the drug store and get some swim ear drops if your uncomfortable pouring random shit in your ear. Just ask the pharmacist. It's cheap and rather enjoyable to hear the popping and sizzling in your ear as everything clears out :P.

I grew up as a swimmer too, and I've always used vinegar when it got really bad. I've heard about using a hairdryer but I never tried it. I'm definitely guilty of bouncing up and down trying to clear the water out.

I'd recommend Auro-Dry ear drops. You can get em at a drug store & they are specifically for swimmer's ear.
