Would be pretty kick ass if it wasn't so fucking annoying with all those long ass commercial intros and shit.

I'd love to go on that show. I'd just get paid 500k, feelings are over rated.

I know game shows are supposed to be legit these days, but that show seems fake. Have you seen the episode with the woman that says she rather would have married her Exboyfriend and was still in love with him?
The husband could care less and was a bad actor. Lie detectors are BS anyway.

That show annoys the fuck out of me. They drag every question out for like 10 minutes.

I think it's also pathetic.

I haven't watched this show, but correct me if I'm wrong.... you go on the show, they ask you a bunch of questions about shit you should be uncomfortable answering truthfully, and if you answer 10 questions without the lie detector going off, you win $500,000?
If that's the case, sign me up. I'll tell them I had a threesome with my mother and a blue whale for 500k.

They can ask me 100 questions for all I care.
Grats on your MIT rejection btw.

The shit is based off a polygraph preshow.... witchcraft at best. There is a reason nobody has won more than 100k yet.

So how's that work?
So how's that work?
They gather up a lot of information on you probably though interviews and then ask you about 50-100 questions in a preshow polygraph. You dont' have to tell the truth but its just to establish your baseline so they know the answers. When you go on the show live they'll reask you 21 of those questions, you don't know which ones. All the questions are pretty subjective so most of the answers could probably go either way like tonight the fail question was "have you ever used sex to get ahead in your job" and she said no and they decided she lied and she got nothing.

Well, if they pre-screen the players with a polygraph test, then they will know how to trigger them. All they do is detect nerviousness and uncertainty. Sounds like one of those shows to watch when nothing better is on.
Just put a thumbtack in your shoe. Push your toe into it when you tell the truth and not when you lie.

It's rigged, one girl was on there and busting out the questions left and right. They asked her some question about performing sexual favors to further herself at work and she answered no, and they said lie. She looked surprised like it was wrong.
It might be decent if it wasn't rigged to not let anyone get above 100k
