As a ranger, is single training in ambush enough? I double in ranged weapons perception and stalking/hiding. Just wondering what other people do. Thanks.

Some double, but many do not. I just depends on if that little extra AS means a lot to you.

How much does it affect sniping? Would double training result in a lot more one shot kills?

From my understanding every 4 trains of ambush will give you +1 to AS after 40 ranks. It is small, but as an archer you will not see major gains until your perception is high enough to aim accurately. Once you are good at aiming, crit kills from eye shots are where you make your money. When you are younger a sighted bow is nice, but after you get some skill (40+ trains) this is not as needed. However I am no pro, so the others here on the PC will have better info, but that is my experience.
