I'd rather see Eric Clapton than hang around with stinky cheese-eating wimpy douchebags.

I'll be with a group of Italians. Not a Frenchie in sight!

South of France is about the only decent part. Eric Clapton's pretty awesome though.

So you're somehow going to avoid seeing any French people the whole time you're in France? Haha.

Agree with both. I saw Clapton in 2006 at the Verizon Center in DC. Pretty freakin' amazing.

hahahaha...nicely done.
The villa will be fully stocked. And most the the Italians are female, so I'm just assuming they'll be the ones doing the shopping, cooking, etc.

While leaving the kid with the Mom and her staff might've been questionable... he wasn't there.

Er, pretty sure Xyelin was just fucking around with that one. His son's death would probably have to be the most unlucky, unprovoked incident to happen to any musical entertainer (in the spotlight) since The Mannheim School produced its first acolytes.

It was awful and I wasn't being serious.
Clapton is the man.
*personally I'd still feel responsible but I'm weird like that.

I knew you were just jealous. :D
I'm beyond psyched and the opening band looks very promising too. The show is June 2nd at Mohegan Sun in Monteville Connecticut and I won them via a radio contest. The tickets aren't on sale yet but they're starting at 125.00 each. I don't care what kind of seats they are it will be wonderful to be in the room when a master plays.
Opening act looks very promising too.

Eric Clapton? For serious? You folks are old. Go back to listening to the lute music that was so popular when you were my age, and reminisce about high school.

Dude Clapton is nearly a God in any religion.
If I were to take guitar lessons a Clapton song would be the on Mt Everest waiting.

Yanno, I thought this thread title said "Elton John", and I was going to come mock you for it...but then everyone was like, "AWESOME!" and I had to re-read it. :(

Robert Randolph is really good. He plays the lap steel guitar which is a unique sound if you've not heard it before. He's music is like modernized Delta Blues, though labels don't really explain his sound. On the latest Robert Randolph CD, Clapton guests on a cover of "Jesus is Just Alright" that is pretty rockin.
