Never got to ride on a Chinook, the three times we inserted by air were Blackhawks, and those just into fields then hiked it a bit to the target. =( no cool roof top stuff

I never rode in a Chinook but I certainly fucking washed one out before. I also have had the great fun of being beneath one hovering with cargo nets full of shit blasting me with all it's rotary might. No we didn't have goggles back then but I did have oakleys on :)

I've got a random thought / concern.

I've seen several Apaches and many more Ah1s (separate occasions obviously) ripping over my house at maybe 300-500 meters.. I mean directly from the west right over the gulf. Many more blackhawks than the gunships but still something ain't right. There are no bases here except Macdill but those are not their dealio.
