Of the three which one is the most important for getting the most mana return.

I think the control you have the most ranks in will affect mana return. The biggest two factors are how much you can actually hold, and the age/type of critter.

I certainly hope they're not basing mana return on whether the critter is a mental/spiritual/elemental and how many ranks we have in those skills. When we're sacrificing we're not absorbing the critter's mana afterall, but transforming it's essence/spirit into mana. :?:

I had been singled in both and was still getting the Creture level +20 that had always been there. Then I ended up dropping my elemental down to like 24 ranks to free up some points I needed at the time (I'm currently working on getting it back up to 1x) and I'm still getting the creature level +20, just got 106 mana off an aivran with 28 elemental ranks and 83 spiritual.
