is it worth it to get either 401 or 101 while i have spare MTP at around level 25?
i was thinking 101 to get a little TD boost.

No, the spells are FAR too easily obtained via other methods. Post on the officials or here for some 101 imbeds or scrolls. You are far, far better off obtaining a high amount of MIU or Arcane Symbols. Another option is to pick up more Harness Power ranks for the new sunfist society, or to send back to casters that spell you up.

Edited to add: Unless you're roleplaying an aspect of complete self-reliance, then I wouldn't ever recommend warriors get spells until WAY post cap, and that would be for the benefits of 425 and 430.

Additionally, the combat-oriented skills that you can get in exchange for the 120 points it costs per spell outweigh any spell you would be able to afford to get. 120 points is a lot of Dodge ranks, or Harness Power ranks, or MIU or Symbols or quite a number of other things.

I would get the spell if you're looking to spend points. Imbeds are very easy to get but that does not make them appear ex nihilo.

Imbeds, Scrolls, alchemy items, and the spell cast by others upon you are all options. Between the four you should never be without 101 or 401 if you so chose.

As a warrior that low of a level you should NEVER have any extra TPs. Any extra that you get should be going into Armor or PF or Dodge.

That's my opinion anyway.
