Additionally, a caster can select which natural sanctuary they will arrive in by using a runestone inscribed with the appropriate common rune (use the RUNE command for more information on how to create runestones). If the caster is not converted to a deity, then a cast of Major Sanctuary will result in him arriving in a sactuary created by lesser spirits local to the realm.

The Luukos sanctuary has been renamed from "Cavern Sanctuary" to "Underground Sanctuary" to not be confused with the "Cavern Sanctuary" associated with cavern spirits.

Dull and grey, craters riddle the landscape, which seems to go on in all directions for as far as the eye can see. Sound is muted, and everything seems somehow softened by the tranquility of the sanctuary. High above, the sky is riddled with hundreds of stars and interrupted in the distance by the strong, burning glows of Liabo and Lornon.

The soft chatter of chipmunks and squirrels rises and falls through the area, its source somewhere deep within the tree.

You can summon different sanctuaries using different runes that before had only been used to summon a specific spirit servant. You just need to hold the runestone in hand and cast 220.

Large brown blocks form the high walls of the stall, while the ground is fashioned of packed dirt. Burning strongly in a walled pit is a sweat inducing heat with a bright orange glow. The faint clang of a hammer striking an anvil rises and falls upon the air.

[Star Spangled Sanctuary]
Thousands of silvery pinpoints of light are scattered across the sanctuary's sky, which is colored so deep a blue that it is nearly black. Chilled marble, polished to a reflective sheen, reflects the night sky and is covered with downy soft sleeping pallets. The sound of a soft lullaby, its words unintelligible but its tune somehow familiar, drifts to your ears on the lazy wind.

Casting without a prepared runestone will take you to a sanctuary designed for the Arkati or spirit you're CONVERTed to. If you're not CONVERTted, you'll go to a randomly selected spirit sanctuary, such as those reached through a runestone.

What you're seeing looks like Eonak and Ronan's, respectively.

Here we have a listing of all the sanctuaries for all the runes Nilandia knows. That makes 37 different sanctuaries. Some of them came from casting them up in the Icemule-Solhaven corridor, while the rest came from purchasing runestones. A few were also submitted by Fehala and Belnia (from Aethor). The sanctuary listings include both entrance and exit messaging from the first person point of view.

[Alpine Sanctuary]
Gazing out from the granite ledge yields a view of snowy expanses and sparse evergreens that punctuate the white landscape. Smooth stone rises on one side, while the rest of the sanctuary lays open to the cold mountain air. Pale clouds, close enough that they can almost be touched, speckle the brilliant blue sky on a firm breeze that chills to the bone.

Dense white mist spreads across the floor, which is cooled with a slight breeze that brushes only a handspan above its wispy surface. The purple sky dances with waves of rainbow lights, filling the heavens with their awe-inspiring illumination. A dry breeze drifts by carrying with it the bite of the arctic and a random snowflake.

[Badland Sanctuary]
High canyon walls are layered with bands of copper and reddish clay as they rise into a sky darkened by the approach of a purplish dusk. A dry wind, laden with sand and heat, passes through the area, stealing moisture as it travels.

[Bog Sanctuary]
Long vines of kudzu cling to the trees, their leafy expanses add a shade of color to the already verdant landscape. Here and there pockets of water, viridian and chocolate with long skeins of algae, speckle the land. Downed trees stand at angles to their brothers like drunken comrades holding each other up. A soft buzzing is punctuated by the strange sound of swamp gases popping and carries with it the distinct aroma of brimstone.

Dropping on all sides to twice again the height of a giant, the boulder rises high off the ground. A strand of light illuminates the area from a series of glowing mushrooms clustered between the wall and floor, their shine greenish and bright.

The howl of the winds is almost deafening, yet the ground remains smooth and calm. Falling like snow, a fine rain of glittering gold sand sprinkles in calm contrast to the chaotic walls.

A lone well, dusty and brown, rests at the heart of the sanctuary, its rope swaying back and forth in a hypnotic rhythm.

Cupped in a bowl between mountain peaks, the glacier resembles a smooth, uncut aquamarine of enormous proportions. Faint cracks and groans can be heard at random moments as the mountains and glacier converse in their own venerable tongue.

[Lavaflow Sanctuary]
Molten lava, bright orange and fiery hot, surrounds the obsidian island on all sides as it swiftly flows past. Tiny bubbles rise and pop along the surface and randomly spray the air with embers that twist and burn. A searing heat radiates from the boiling river, though the heart of the sanctuary remains only warm.

[Luck Sanctuary]
Bands of color cut across the sanctuary and illuminate everything in their path with a powerful glow. Reds transition to oranges, which become yellows in an arc that eventually melds into green, blue, and violet. Beyond the edges of color, the world is void of light and hue, though it is filled with merry laughter and a sound like the clinking of countless coins cascading to the ground.

[Marsh Sanctuary]
Twisted banyans rise from the stagnant waters that surround the small, dry island; their limbs spread wide until woven into a canopy of leaves and vines. Thick mosses carpet the ground, creating an unnatural silence that is frequently punctuated by the tapping of a woodpecker. A dark shape moves beneath the surface of the water, disrupting floating leaves and causing ripples to lap at the muddy shore.

[Mountain Sanctuary]
Winds howl and gust beyond the opening of the sanctuary, which is a black hole of ragged stone and dangling tree roots. Smooth walls taper as they reach towards the back of the cave, and the ground is speckled with large and small rock formations that provide natural furniture for the small space. A thin band of water glistens upon one of the wall faces and sparkles faintly in the ambient light.

[Ocean Sanctuary]
Tranquil and serene, the surface of the ocean below you is as smooth as glass and equally reflective. Golden motes of light glisten as they pass through the smooth water to disappear in the shadowy depths, while random clouds drift past the translucent walls of the sanctuary to create darker images below. The air is still with a feeling of waiting, as if the world holds its breath, and sound is muffled.

[Oxbow Sanctuary]
Cradled by verdant hills, the bend of the river rises high against the hillside, while dropping away to white silt in the valley. The rushing water is deep blue and rainbow salmon arch their bodies against the current to reach the river's zenith.

[River Sanctuary]
Tumbled stones and pebbles cover the muddy expanse of the riverbed, their surfaces covered in brown and green algae. Transparent walls swirl with the flow of water that parts around the sanctuary. Some of the clear liquid bubbles up and over the strange, translucent dome ceiling. A spray of color tickles the moist air as a cool breeze passes by.

[Snow Sanctuary]
Thick and blinding, the blizzard howls beyond the translucent icy walls of the sanctuary. Within the shelter, a lazy swirl of snow dances in the ambient illumination and falls to the soft, smooth ground. A series of icy mounds provide resting places, while a warm fire burns fitfully at the center of the room. Oddly, the ice does not melt from the heat of the blaze.

[Solar Sanctuary]
Wrapped in a bubble of energy that protects against the heat, the sanctuary is cocooned within an inferno of orange and yellow light. Cracks in the surface give way to pulses of energy that seek ways through the protective shell, though they disperse before they can break through. A red nimbus covers the floor, which vibrates slightly.

[Spring Sanctuary]
Ringed on all sides by fiddlehead and silver-leaf ferns, the spring is fed by a small stream that can be glimpsed through the sprawling vegetation. Tulips, water lilies, and honeysuckle vines dot the banks, while a fallen log stretches across the spring and houses the echoing chirp of a cricket. A trio of water sliders dances across the surface, creating ripples that radiate outward.

[Stream Sanctuary]
The petite and narrow stream winds its way through a wall of vegetation along the edges of the sanctuary and then disappears. Strands of tall reeds add their own chime, while dark lotuses gaze at their reflections in the crystal clear water.

[Sun Sanctuary]
Pulsating bright and round above, an enormous orb fills the sky and radiates long tendrils of orange, red, and yellow flames. Swirling mist, balmy and tingling to the touch, obscures the ground, while a deep hum thrums through the sanctuary. The air is dry, though filled with a deep warmth that is almost uncomfortable.

[Sunburst Sanctuary]
Bright, though not uncomfortably so, the sanctuary's walls are bathed in orange, red, and yellow light. Swirls of energy lick upward from the floor to coil on anything in their path, their tendrils warm and comforting. Random solar flares pulsate through the sky in flashes of bright white light, and a constant wind, dry and warm, stirs the air.

[Swamp Sanctuary]
Large and gnarled, the roots of the mangrove form parabolic arches as they rise from the fetid swamp in a ring around the small island sanctuary. Clinging lichens, pale yellow and red, snake their way up the thick trunks, while the limbs are heavy with near black vines and mosses. A screech owl makes its presence known at regular intervals, its strange cry echoing off the murky, dark waters and is accompanied by the constant hum of mosquitos.

[Taiga Sanctuary]
Tall conifers reach towards the sky with their spindly trunks and shed pine needles every time the wind shifts through them. A ring of fallen trees hugs the granite facing, which comes to life with a burbling stream of clear spring water. Soft rays of the sun fall in long dim slants upon the frost-covered ground.

[Tidal Sanctuary]
Water-smoothed boulders and stones surround the edges of the sanctuary in an earthy barrier on three sides, while the rush of the open ocean stretches beyond. Moist sand is speckled with tiny tidal pools that house urchins, crabs, and starfish, while spotted periwinkle snails cling to the boulders that are submerged in water. Several long skeins of seaweed lap at the shore as the tide pushes them along.

Balmy air moves across the desolate beach, its tendrils scented with ripe fruits and exotic flowers. Upon one side of the sanctuary, the ocean laps at the sandy coastline in a quiet rhythmic motion, while the palm fronds of enormous trees on the opposite end sway in counterpoint to the tide. A cluster of lazy clouds drifts above over a sky that is brilliant blue and is speckled with the vibrant hues of strange, long-feathered birds that squawk lyrically as they pass.

[Volcano Sanctuary]
Encased in a bubble of orange swirled with obsidian, the sanctuary is illuminated from above by a swiftly flowing river of fiery crimson magma. Rocky formations melted and twisted from the extreme temperatures throughout smoke slightly and radiate a burning heat that is almost stifling. A deep rumble vibrates through the glassy floor and dislodges soot and ash from their resting places high above.

[Wasteland Sanctuary]
Pock-marked with stagnant craters, the largely barren landscape is covered in a clinging silver mist that stretches as far as the eye can see. Putrid and noxious scents rise from tepid pools, whose edges are overrun with black mold and mushrooms. The air is oppressive and tainted with foul scents.

[Will-O-Wisp Sanctuary]
Amorphous motes of light speckle the silver and grey mist that drifts from the cool ground, their source indiscernible. Faint swirls move the cool air around, and a quiet song, its words ancient and forgotten before they can be remembered, plays a haunting tune that fills the sanctuary. The mist clings to the ground and shifts with the slightest movement through the area.

[Woodland Sanctuary]
Spindly arms reach toward the distant sky, their frames ringed in thin white bark that is banded with ebon lines. Elliptical leaves shimmer brilliant crimson and amber like the dying light of a summer day and are moved by the low breeze that swirls through the area. The rich aroma of loam, moss, and grass scents the air, and a sense of peace pervades the sanctuary.

Carved sigils ring a basin at the center of the sanctuary, its lip edged in razor-sharp obsidian that glistens with a thick, red liquid. A two-headed snake slithers around a severed hand painted crimson with its own blood at the edge of the sanctuary's platform.

Two of the runes weren't listed in RUNE COMMON, so I couldn't get to them to post. Oscuro put them in the listing, so here are the cavern and wood sanctuaries.

[Cavern Sanctuary]
Riddled with stalactites, the ceiling of the sanctuary is dark, and the walls are distant and riddled with veins of ore. A feeling of great weight fills the air, which is laden with the scent of metal and dirt; a sense of antiquity rises like dust from the smooth ground.

[Wood Sanctuary]
Silver-leafed aspens rise on all sides, their limbs lifting to the sky and reaching out towards each other. Tufts of grass cling to a small game trail that winds its way between the slender giants, the edges dotted with dark stones and blue slate. A brown wren warbles quietly as it gazes down from above, its body nearly hidden against the pale bark.

It also should be noted that the old, neutral sanctuary still exists. My unaligned empath could only go there when casting on FWI.

I guess I overlooked FWI when I created the realm lists. It now has its own list of sanctuaries. The old neutral sanctuary is still available via other means, though.
