Hurling - Sonic Weapons

Anyone ever try this?

You would have to recast Sonic weapon every time, even if you could hurl em.

That's what I was wondering about, they changed the mechanics in sonics at some point (been back playing my bard less than half a year) that you can actually drop and pick them up if say weapon fire is cast on them.

As such I was curious if the weapon dissipated after the attack or it fell to the ground.

You cannot, it dissipates after it leaves your hand... On the convert to GS4 there was this bard going around hurling sonic lances, an aimed lance to the head was a bit unbalanced... heh

I was actually told that it was sonic jeddarts allowing a lvl 60 something bard to hunt griffins quite painlessly, but the info seems to be iffy every time I hear it.
