View Full Version : Ex-Blizzard Employee Divorces Husband Over WoW
Ex-Blizzard Employee Divorces Husband Over WoW (http://news.filefront.com/ex-blizzard-employee-divorces-husband-over-wow/)
A California resident who once worked briefly for Blizzard has recently divorced her husband of six years because according to her, his addiction to World of Warcraft ruined their marriage. Never having played the game herself, 28 year-old Jocelyn stated that her husband Peter’s crippling addiction to the game became more than she could handle.
“He would get home from work at 6:00, start playing at 6:30, and he’d play until three a.m. Weekends were worse — it was from morning straight through until the middle of the night. It took away all of our time that we spent together. I ceased to exist in his life.”

Hmm, maybe she was just not as interesting as the game.

I read about this the other day. I feel kind of bad for her... I mean her husband would rather play WoW than hang out with her :(
How can you not pity that?

I disagree.
If she really did suck, he could have taken his eye off the raid for at least 10 minutes.

Why the FUCK did you have to bring your old pal Emislutty into this.
You know posting photos of other posters without their permission is point earning material.

It's the serene blue eyes and the butterfly embroidery that really does it for me.

Mistuh Kurtz survives after slithering over the end of a straight razor.... in his dreams...his nightmare!
Or something like that. Think I may pop that movie in tonight.

When I first read this the other day, I started to feel bad for her. Then I saw that used to work there, knew it was an addicting game, didn't play it for such reason, and STILL gave it to him. She lost my sympathy. I'm not saying that he's blameless, but she should have seen it coming.

I'd like to know how the wife worked at Blizzard and never played WoW.
Maybe that was the problem...despite working for Blizzard, she couldn't understand what her husband was talking about when he said to nerf warlocks, and things just went downhill from there.

In the article I read (I didn't read it again here, so i'm not sure if it's says it there too), she stated she never wanted to play WoW because she knew it was a game that would never end.

Thank god GS ends. Can't wait to stop playing after I hit 100.
Not really sure what her having worked at Blizzard briefly has anything at all to do with this article. Makes a catchy headline I suppose.
And I thought the pic PB posted was a photochopped Klaive at first.
