Converting .MOV to .WMV

Anyone know of any free programs where I can do this that don't have any stupid shit thrown in, like watermarking the video unless you register the program, etc.?

I have one file I need to convert and really don't want to buy a program just for that.

I’d offer to convert it for you but my video software does not support .wmv. (Mac) Maybe someone else who owns the software will volunteer.

Well anything that I can open up and edit in Windows Movie Maker will be fine, it doesn't necessarily have to be .WMV.

Also I'd be looking to find out how to make the file not so huge. Apparently YouTube has a 100MB limit, and this video is a little over 1 gig. I know pretty much nothing about this stuff.

.avi is supported by Windows Movie Maker which I can convert to, but a 1G file? I’d have to invoice you for the work. :) There has to be some Windows app that can manage it.

Got it downloaded and all ready to convert, then I get...

One or more codecs required to open this content could not be found. (0xC00D1B83)

Apprently I need some codec to get it to open in this program, but I can't seem to find any.

Know where to find a quicktime plugin by any chance?
