Okay here's the deal. I put on plate and my DS lowered by 45.

Now, i'm undertrained in armor training for the plate and i'm pretty sure that this is the problem. I'm just looking for a confirmation. Though i'm also told that it simply hinders the DS boost that dodge gives me.

Here's the pertinent information:

Dex Bonus: 35
Agi Bonus: 30
no encumbrance when plate is on
4 second swing with two sais with plate on
5 second ambush with two sais with plate on
56 ranks armor training
DS with plate on: 45
DS with no armor: 90

This is because I haven't fully armor-trained off the plate, right? or is it the dodge thing?

Its the dodge thing, and possibly the encumberance created by the plate.

The hindrance in regards to dodge created by plate is 17%. This cannot be trained off to my knowledge.

Hrm. Thanks. So as long as i'm swinging fast in it it's not going to affect anything but my spell fail if i'm still undertrained for it right?

It will effect your DS from Dodge, your ability to dodge maneuver attacks, your ability to evade attacks, and massively increase your vulnerability to guild skills as wells as your encumberance, movement penalty and spell hindrance.

Hauberk it is!

I wouldn't think you'd be able to cast ANY spells in full plate with that training. You're undertrained for hauberk also. Just so you know.

I know i'm undertrained for hauberk, but it doesn't affect me too much. By the time I have to think about hunting i'll be trained fine for it.

You'd have a 96% spell hindrance for both circles.
