Thori'dal, the Stars' Fury - 02/08/08

MMO-Champion has the skinny on the legendary bow of Sunwell, which is called Thori'dal, the Stars' Fury.

+17 Agility
Durability 110/110
Requires Level 70
Equip: Improves your critical strike rating by 16.
Equip: Increases your attack power by 34.
Equip: Your attacks ignore 112 of your opponent's armor.
Equip: Increases ranged attack speed by 15%. Does not stack with quiver or ammo pouch haste effects.
"The energy of the Sunwell courses through Thori'dal."

It is also being reported that it comes with the following spell ID which is not mentioned in the item description:

46699 : Requires No Ammo - Thori'dal generates magical arrows when the bow string is drawn. Does not use ammo.

No ammo costs AND anyone lucky enough to get this bow gets a bag slot back!

Chances are this is going to be put in as a "one boss fight" weapon ... much like the netherstrand longbow.

I hope that's not the case, but I don't see blizz freeing any cass that uses a ranged weapon from ammo costs and giving them a static bonus of a quiver at the same time.

I'd have to read that from a qualified Blizz rep. There have been plenty of crappy interpretations of items on the test realm.

I hope it is, but I won't believe it is until a blue says so ... or until I see one outside of an instance after the next patch.

I don't have any links to give you but I know there has been talk of a ranged legendary in 2.4 for awhile (whenever blues started posting about it.)

There also isn't any "Unique: Sunwell" type of modifier on the item like what was in all of the legendaries used in whatever fight it is in TK that gives you all of em. Take it for what you will, I'm 99% sure this is a 'real legendary' and I'm sure a post on the wow forums will get you the same answer
