No lockers in Cysaegir... · on 2/9/2008 5:51:06 PM http://www.play.net/images/transparent.gif

...Is a statement that belongs in the past!

After many, many, many, many.... Did I say many? Anyway, after many long months of debate, the town officials have decided to enter into an agreement with a nearby municipality.

For your pleasure, individuals that have locker access in Ta'Illistim can now access their lockers from within the town proper of Cysaegir. No more running back and forth between these two towns to lighten or add to your load.

Check it out, you guys have lockers.... Sorta ;)

Enjoy!

So if I am reading this correctly, it is a single shared locker with Illistim and Cysaegir? Is that correct?

Actually, that is what this means, Makkah. They were planning on building lockers in Cysaegir FOR Cysaegir. Now they just have Ta'Illi lockers over there instead. That sucks, I was looking forward to the extra storage.

I know lockers are complicated code apparently, but, really how much time does it take to "build" them?

None of this code is complicated, people for some strange reason overhype the complication of this game which is still just a text based MUD.

Lockers are more complicated code than a lot of other systems because they are old and kludged together and the way it interacts with the backend is complicated. This is what I've been told at least, so obviously it takes some more time than changing the painting of a room for instance.
