An Ithzir seer fades into view!
An Ithzir seer suddenly opens her eyes and stares directly at you!
An Ithzir seer concentrates intently on you, and a pulse of pearlescent energy ripples toward you!
CS: +396 - TD: +352 + CvA: -21 + d100: +91 - -5 == +119
Warding failed!
You shudder with moderate convulsions as pearlescent ripples envelop your body.
You are battered for 34 points of damage!
... 5 points of damage!
Blow to your back connects lightly.
... 5 points of damage!
Strike glances off your chest.

That sorta looks like channeled boneshatter for some reason.

I was thinking 302 but I have no idea.

It's bone shatter.

That normal for a lower end roll now days? Or did the crit padding on my armor help?

I was thinking 302 but I have no idea.

302 only hits twice, and only the 2nd hit inflicts injuries, while the first hit is just damage. Kinda like 415.

I'd say it probably depends on training, armor, stance and whether it was channeled or cast, but that seems really low for that kind of roll.

Here's one from Nilandia with an identical end roll. It's channeled from offensive, and she's trained to use the spell well, singling in mental mana control, tripling in first aid and with 40 ranks of manipulation.

You focus your thoughts while chanting the mystical phrase for Bone Shatter...
You channel at a dybbuk.
You concentrate intently on a dybbuk, and a pulse of pearlescent energy ripples toward it!
CS: +259 - TD: +175 + CvA: +25 + d100: +10 == +119
Warding failed!
The dybbuk shudders with moderate convulsions as pearlescent ripples envelop its body.
The dybbuk is smashed for 44 points of damage!
... 25 points of damage!
Nice blow to left arm!
The dybbuk is stunned!
... 20 points of damage!
Strike to head breaks cheekbone.

89 damage here against 44 for yours, a little more than double.

That normal for a lower end roll now days? Or did the crit padding on my armor help?From all the endrolls I've seen with my empath and bone shatter, I'd say the 34 damage wasn't reduced at all, but the 2 subsequent crits were.

(This is speculation, mind you.)

edit: Compare with the results of Gretchen's cast above. That said, my empath channels in offensive with an open hand; I don't know what the the seer would do. That might affect results as well.

Good point. Nilandia uses a runestaff, so her casts are always with one open hand.

Only real experience I can recall with bone shatter was using a capped empath in OTF before the change to 1106. And her CS was enough that I normally got a higher endroll, probably 200+ and almost always killed in 2-3 casts or one for casters.
