The crop dusting story reminded me of something while I was in CVS.

I was looking at medication and noticed a small section of homeopathic medication. Am I the only one that is seriously annoyed this stuff is marketed as actual medication?

I mean, people having stock in this pseudoscience really bothers me. Fuck homeopathy and the money trap that it is.

What the hell is homeopathy?

You have a sick person that has for instance... a fever.

Homeopathy basically states by giving concotions that induce fever in healthy people it will actually remove the fever in a sick person.

Here's the catch... The "medicine" they use is more powerful the more dilute it is. So, basically you have something that is .0003% (it goes a SHIT load less) random chemical (e.g. arsenic, snake venom, belladona, goose liver) in a distilled water / alcohol solution.

It goes as far that, chemically, it would be impossible for some solutions to contain any molecules of the random chemical in question, but it's okay, because the medication then has the "spiritual essence" or "memory" of this shit.
