DE Sorcerer, whoever would have guessed? /sarcasm

Pretty cookie cutter there.

Personally I would at least adjust to have 725 and 425 ... and 120 if you can swing it.

More realistically I'd suggest 725/425/107 ... then take what fat you can out of your training and up MnS (nearly tripling spells makes you pretty one dimensional), but you could cut out the lore for now and see where that leaves you.

Oh and because someone is going to: also learn how to spell.

I'll be the first to admit I'm not a sorcerer character expert (still learning how to build mine), but looking at your numbers, here are some things I noticed:

1. You are equipped to use a runestaff effectively, if that's your preference (You have to have a minimum of 8 ranks of magical skills per level average, and it looks like you have at least 10/level).

2. Your CS looks like it should be on target with the magic training you have in your spell circles.

3. Wisdom, Aura, Discipline, and Intuition look good to me (DIS and INT are 2 of the four stats taken into account for the illusion guild skill, obviously WIS and AUR are needed as well, plus WIS and AUR effect base mana, TD, and CS).

4. Your armor use ranks are high enough to wear double leather with the minimum casting hinderance penalty and the lowest RT (need at least 6 ranks to lower these to the minimum). You could try to work of MAvA, but unless you plan on doing sweeps, disarms, and throws, it's probably not worth training much past 6 ranks. In other words, spend your PTPs in more important areas than Armor Use if you don't care about MAvA.

5. Physical Fitness looks good to me.

6. Your magic training looks good to me, I usually follow this pattern:

a. 1X Arcane Symbols
b. 1X Magic Item Use
c. 1X Harness Power
d. 2X Spell Aiming
e. 1X Elemental Mana Control
f. 1X spiritual Mana Control
g. 2X Spell Research
h. 1X Sorcerous Lore

In summary: I don't see anything wrong. It looks to me like your pretty well on track (assuming you want to be a runestaff wielder), but there are many other people here training sorcerers who are far more experienced than I am. Maybe they can see something to recommend that I can learn from too.

Nilandia has a good web site for sorcerers: http://www.nilandia.com/. I believe she posts here at PC too.

Good luck.

It's not about the race / profession combination, it's how you role-play it.

That being said.. If you're going to strive for originality, make sure to be decked out all in black, highly xenophobic, and implode everything in sight.

I tried to change the tread name, sorry about that. My keyboard sometimes does not pick up all keystrokes...

I was just fucking with you... yeah you can't change thread names, I've been boned by that one before, but there is good reason for it.

Steeple your fingers and shift your eyes like you was Edaarin or Soulpieced before he became crackery.

By crackery do you mean being super duper white, or the other type of crackery, a'la Tyrone Biggums?
