Hello all,

I have a warrior nearing 40 trains. I have been playing him off and on for a few years and have grown attached. The problem is that his stats are real messed up. Here's the deal:

Lvl 0
Strength (STR): 89
Constitution (CON): 91
Dexterity (DEX): 90
Agility (AGI): 90
Discipline (DIS): 70
Aura (AUR): 70
Logic (LOG): 40
Intuition (INT): 70
Wisdom (WIS): 20
Influence (INF): 30

Lvl 40
Strength (STR): 100
Constitution (CON): 100
Dexterity (DEX): 100
Agility (AGI): 100
Discipline (DIS): 83
Aura (AUR): 79
Logic (LOG): 50
Intuition (INT): 83
Wisdom (WIS): 45
Influence (INF): 55

I messed up when I still had the ability to change stats and left them there. now i am losing TP's per level. Since I do have the ability to convert, I wanted some people's opinion on this. Thanks.

most people would recommend you should not convert. those stats aren't that bad anyway

I wouldn't suggest converting just to fix your stats up.

If you want the character to stay a warrior, look into a fixstat potion from the Adventurer's Guild... either with your own bounty points (takes a million, I believe) or buying one from someone else (I think I've seen them sell for 10 mil silvers).

Fixstat go for more in the neighborhood of 40mil.

If you like being a semi, a paladin is a nice jump. Don't think you will be just becoming a warrior. There are perks, but there are craptastic features of a paladin comparing to a warrior.

I suggest you hold out, how crappy do you really think your stats are? I'm sure your TD might be hurting, but most warriors have that problem regardless of stats. If you're able to play and enjoy yourself, stay as you are, maybe get a second character slot and give a paladin a try and see how it fits you (hard to get a feel early levels though), but I regretted converting my warrior (although he was much lower level).

Ah, I was thinking of the fixskills potion(s) I've been seeing people sell.

My bad.

I too dislike how my stats are placed, a little different than yours but still tanked in similar areas. Its worth staying a warrior. Just work in the guild to get feint at least, tackle and disarm wouldnt hurt either. Use those to keep things from casting at you and you wont have a problem. Get into MBP if you arent already, the CvA is awesome. Other than that if youre really worried about a stat or two just pick up a few enhancing items, its a lot cheaper than spending 40m on a fixstat. Work the adv guild and save up for your own if you really want it.

Don't convert... warriors are better, imo.

I enjoy my Paladin, but I converted from a swinger cleric. I wouldn't do it, for any character, just for the stats.

Not meaning to bust up the thread....

I too was debating on doing the convert, but I've placed that debate far off onto the back burner since I can do it anytime if I wanted. I don't think my stats are too bad.

Sylvan warrior at Level 43 (I would post level 0 stats, but It's been about 13 or so years so I couldn't remember them.)

Stats: Normal (Bonus) ... Enhanced (Bonus)
Strength (STR): 100 (25) ... 100 (25)

Influence (INF): 54 (2) ... 54 (2)

I would conclude that your stats ARE indeed pretty bad... you'll have a ton of TPs, but you've lost tons of growth. That said, a paladin with perfect stats is still worse off than a warrior with shitty stats.

Unless you really really like paladins... I'd stay the way you are and in the future you can look into a stat potion.
