There seems to be a hell of a lot of pissing and moaning going on on these boards the past few days, and even more of the incredibly inane internet arguments/threats. Obviously I'm not looking for the heavy handed days of HN, but I think as a community we can at least not drag out arguments that have no substance and aren't providing entertainment.

I thought that we all finally got along. We had a good time.

But we got so many reported posts, we broke so many rules...
that we got booted off the forum.

You know, it used to be the moderator's job to make rules.

It used to be us against them.
Now it's us against us.

I've been here seven years and I gotta tell you guys...

what's going on here is about America.
It's about democracy.

It's about the Bill of Rights, basic cable, call-waiting, free trips to the salad bar.

Yeah, I've been promoted to Super Mod as well, so hopefully I can catch as much as possible, just report if you don't like something..I'll take a look as soon as possible.
