Blah, my connection is going nuts. I keep dropping every so often.

the LD Killed me out in the Broken Lands. Anyone headed out there? I'm out in the monastery...

I've been getting some minor, yet noticeable lag for at least the past two week, approximately.

I haven't really given it much thought as it's not that bad.

It's stupid when the internets are working, but the game drops. Inexplicable, even.

I'm having the same problem. I've been dropped during alchemy creation reps and lost 4 batches of sneezing powder so far (we're talking 16 wasted essence of fire!)

Not a happy bunny.

I kept getting dropped when I was in the stocks last night. It sucked. I can't seem to stay logged in this morning, either. Simu's website is sludgy too. Other websites load fine, so I figure it's probably not me. Something is wrong with teh internets between St. Louis and here.

So I was managing to stay connected, but it was unbelievably laggy and sucky, so I was way underhunting for cash. Standing around in offensive, encumbered to the nines, with several seconds of chronic lag this happens:

A Grimswarm giant fighter treads in, ready for combat!

I managed to escape with just a broken arm because I was REALLY lucky, but maybe I've figured this grimswarm thing out: It's a new mechanic to foil afk script strip-miners.

It could be, they might have been checking if I was afk script foraging I guess.

Nah, I've been actively(moving around with other people, joking, etc) hunting, and had them gen.

Random gen critters would be tougher to script against, though. It's definitely not GM-initiated on the spawn though.

anyone have any issues w/ there computer catching a lag spike, and just shutting down?

Lags, Lockouts, and Drops are really starting to piss me off.
