Taking a business class on the SUNY Learning NEtwork and I'm having some trouble understanding what this means:
You need at least 3 posts for the entire module. One must be in the first 3 days, and no more than one can be in the last 3 days. Minimum posts needed = 3 (not 4)
Someone put that in english.
It does not mean only one in the last 3 days.

To me it's saying you need at least one in the first 3 days, as many as you want for the middle part (at least one), then (optionally) one maximum for the last three days (it's not mandatory unless you haven't done at least 3 before the last 3 days).

It means, you can't wait until the last minute to do all your posts.

Ah, why the fuck couldn't he just say that. That was his 3rd email to me and he literally just kept saying the same thing...
I make it a point to get all 3 done by Monday, I just didn't get all the wording. Thanks! I'm an idiot.

I fucking hated online classes where you had to post to 'check in'... it lead to so much retarded people saying hi here are my post....and no one would ever get together at the same times to work on projects and shit..group projects with strangers who have a ton of excuses suck.

Group projects in an online only class are fucking stupid, plain and simple. I've only had one and i've taken about six or seven online classes, so I think most professors realize how fucking stupid it is.

This is my second batch of classes with the SUNY Learning Network through MCC and Brockport. And so far, I've had partners and group things in only 2 classes. Drove me crazy!
And yea... The discussion posts are just retarded. I take it seriously and write up a 2 page response to everything. Everyone else is like:
OMGHAI, U R 2 kool!

The best online courses IMO are the ones where you do the work at your pace but have to have it all in by the end of the semester. I hate waiting.
As far as what that means, it is worded weird but am inclined to agree with Trouble.

I've never had an online class like that. In all the ones i've taken, we had certain things due each week (postings, assignments, quizzes, etc). Most of the professors will accept work somewhat late (I think, but i've never turned any in late), but never a class that just said "have everything in whenever but by the end of the semester". That would be freaking awesome.
