I think it's a hoax, filmed probably a couple years ago on an old camera.

I was totally expecting a screaming ghost at the end of all of that. I was sure there would be a...now you have to turn up the volume all the way to hear XXXXXX.
I'd say a hoax all the way...what animal would bite the actual camera when there is so much juicy flesh around?

Disappointing. Wasn't even scary.

Yeah it was a bit of a letdown. My friend has been freaking out over it all day and thinks it's real. I keep telling him he's a fucking idiot.

There are some really, really ugly and obese wolves. If you ever see wolves as a byproduct of industrialization (and not what Disney makes us think of some sort of chiseled majestic beast) they're pretty hysterical looking. I only say that because if you've ever seen video footage of one of these fat fuckers, they literally look bipedal when they slosh their fat around and remain much faster than bears.
Garbage wolves still fuck a bitch-ass up, so to speak. That's the only thing I can think of, besides IT'S PHAKEZOROMG!one1.

I wonder if she had the dog in the car with her from earlier. That would've provoked it if the animal is a wolf and had already ate domestic canine. Blurry photographic evidence ftw.

I can just hear the promo writer reverse-engineering this one...the person and the place have to be unknown, so that people might think they missed this news. Then let's place some motivation to be out in the woods: I know, wood-chopping!
Cynicism aside, I think it's a pretty smart viral marketing campaign element. Let the blogosphere do all the work!

There are some things the blogosphere need not decipher (http://www.forum.gsplayers.com/showpost.php?p=668391&postcount=281), young Jedi.

It looked to me like a silverback gorilla. But unless it escaped from a zoo, that wouldn't make any sense at all given the location.

No Bob, just someone who enjoys Animal Planet once in awhile and caught a documentary about Jane Goddall and her ape studies recently.
And then, I actually did a google search for images of the silverback just to be sure it was the one I was thinking of! Imagine that - someone who actually 1) watches educational TV and 2) looks things up once in awhile.
