Alternatives to an Armband?

I have one of those gold-ring holding armbands...since it's pinworn, what do you think my options might be for changing the noun?

Think I could turn it into some greaves or a bracer? Maybe a sash?

Any ideas or suggestions welcome!

it would have to stay something arm/wristworn, like a bracer or vambrace or wristcuff or something along those lines. GMs aren't allowed to change the "essence" of an item, so changing an armband into greaves or a sash would be a no.

I got the noun of two of the pinworn ringholders changed by two different merchants.

At the third one, they said the had to stay with the essence of the item, so I guess the word got passed around.
