I am looking for a better staff then the one I have: A dark blue mesille staff topped with a pair of golden wings.

I would really like a zested one, 5x or higher. Compatable with an Mage Entrancess Elf.

I was under the impression that enchant of 4x or greater on runestaffs don't linearly equate to DS; in such a manner that it's in no way worth the cost of higher enchanted staves.

Any solid numbers on that? I've avoided runestaves like the plague.

Sorry if this seems offtopic, just a suggestion that you might be pretty well off with the staff you have if you like the look of it; or you might want to relax your 5x or higher stipulation if someone offers something that appeals to you otherwise.

It's recently been ruled that "staff" is not an acceptable noun for a runestaff.

They claim it's always been that way. They're just recently enforcing it, I guess.

That's such a crock. New chars are sent out into the world with 'a rune staff'. Not acceptable?

I've a couple of those newb staves lockered. I've been expecting them to do something like this for a while. Also worth nothing, according to the last three merchants I've visited, not only must a runestaff remain a runestaff, the second 15 of the alter must mention the fact it is made of wood. Generally the wood it is made of.

The SGM in charge of alter policy should be shot, run over, beaten, poisoned, thrown off a cliff, then buried alive. -_-

Yes, I am looking for something differant then what I have. I was unaware of the differance between 4x and 5x, Thank you. Just might have saved me alittle bit of silver.

Runestaff, rune staff, staff.....it all gets the point across.
I have a staff. I also have a runestaff. Either or will do, hence the "\" in title: runestaff/staff. :p

Also, I was looking into the morphing wrist ones.... anyone have any suggestions?

The morphing ones can't be enchanted under normal means, if you had not been told...Don't know if you needed to take that into consideration.
