1. an etched platinum grouse banded along the wings in rose gold filigree accented with creamy white pearls-

Old altered mechanical bird with lots of actions, a few of which are listed below. Weighs 5 lbs, pin worn, alterable.

>turn grouse
You slowly wind the etched platinum grouse's crank, feeling the spring tighten and the clicking of tiny gears as the grouse's beak opens and closes.

wear grouse
You place your platinum grouse on your shoulder.

wave grouse
You point up into the air and sharply command your platinum grouse to take flight. Suddenly the starling begins to flap its wings quickly. Slowly it rises bare inches off of your shoulder and lets out a merry trill at its accomplishment before landing again.

rub grouse
You gently stroke the back of your platinum grouse. The creature coos softly and stretches out its wings under your caress.

prod grouse
The platinum grouse lets out a low, sharp whistle while flapping its wings at you in agitation. Its angry twitter continues for a few moments while it attempts to settle down. Perhaps you should be nicer to your platinum grouse in the future?

smooch grouse
You turn and smooch the platinum grouse perched on your shoulder lovingly. The platinum grouse seems to brighten at this and leads into a tender lovesong. Gentle, lilting notes fill the air as the platinum grouse serenades you.

tap grouse
You idly tap the beak of your platinum grouse. The platinum grouse shuffles uncomfortably, as if just awakened. It leans from foot to foot a moment before arching its neck and letting forth a beautiful trill.

rem grouse
You remove the platinum grouse from your shoulder and set it in your right hand.

Found a few more zests. Also found out that when ya wind it, it does alot on its own till it needs wound again.

Misstie pushes back the latch holding the crank in place on her faceted crystal nightingale. The mechanical sound of clicking gears can be heard. Suddenly the nightingale seems to come to life as it flaps its wings in a rhythmic motion and begins to sing a hauntingly beautiful melody.
>
Misstie says, "Pretty."
>
As Misstie's faceted crystal nightingale continues to sing, a beautiful and hypnotic melody lilts through the air as if the nightingale is pouring out its mechanical heart for the world to hear.
>
A high pitched trill fills the air as Misstie's faceted crystal nightingale flexes its wings elegantly and brings its melodic tune to a beautiful crescendo.
>
Misstie's faceted crystal nightingale begins rocking back and forth on its perch as it trills out a jaunty, fast paced tune. Its jerky movements almost seem to resemble some sort of avian jig!
>
Misstie smiles softly as a gentle lull in the tune brings her faceted crystal nightingale's song from a fevered pitch to a calm, soothing melody.
>
A mournful dirge pours out from within Misstie's faceted crystal nightingale. Its lament for the end of the song is readily apparent.
>
Misstie's faceted crystal nightingale winds down as it reaches the end of its power. Its song fades and slows until the last note is sung and the nightingale's wings fall motionless against its sides.
>
Misstie slowly winds the crank of her faceted crystal nightingale, and you hear the tiny click of gears as the nightingale's beak opens and closes.
>
Misstie brushes her fingers lightly against her faceted crystal nightingale.
