That's one of those new gold ring holders from the halloween festival. Put a gold ring in it like a crystal amulet holder.

nevermind - was exiting from a temporal rift, then a ring holder..

And got in the rift by casting familiar gate without a familiar... never knew that would happen.

I think that's what it looks like when you exit a glyph trap (or is there another way to get rifted like that?) You know, where you spam your number pad until it spits you out. That's one of the places you get dropped.

The cufflinks are those gold-ring hiding things.
