I first found out about her when she covered Cat Stevens' How Can I Tell You for DeBeers Diamonds. I think she has a lovely voice. I just wish she would record that entire song and release it.

she's come a long way. when I first saw her perform on her first tour (what, 6-7 year ago?) she was so nervous, that she had to play with her back to the crowd...it was a good show, but he last show in DC in late 07 was even better.

I first noticed her on the Handsome Boy Modeling School CD on the "I've been thinking" track. Rhapsody just released her new CD Jukebox the other day.

I'm also a fan of Cat Power. Free is one of my favorite albums. You can really feel the emotion she puts into songs.

Handsome Boy Modeling School is pretty sweet too, but sometimes I feel like their albums have too many skits that interrupt the flow and just need to get to the music, although part of their 'thing' is pretending to be living the model lifestyle.
