Ever want to know what kind of neighbor you might be moving next to on your next home purchase? There's no need to fear! Rotten Neighbor.com is here!www.RottenNeighbor.com (http://www.RottenNeighbor.com)

Be patient with the site, it just got coverage on the Today show and now on CNN, so server traffic is high.

I was on for a few, managed to look up my address, then it crashed before I could register/log in.

It uses Google satellite imaging/mapping so it shows you pictures of housetops with red or green pins on top.

Very cool. I'm sending the link to all my realtor associates.

What moron would intentionally devalue their property by saying they have awful neighbors? It's great in theory but the last thing you want to do is shit on your neighbors, then try to sell your house. I could see doing it after you've moved out but...

It would also suck if you moved into the house of a crappy homeowner and now you're stuck with their rating.

Good in theory, can't imagine it works.

I work a lot with the president of the houston area realtors, so I'm waiting to see his opinion of the site and if its a good tool for real estate clients to access.

I've also sent it to our investor relations guru to see if its legitimate enough to include on the list of influential realtor tool websites.

I'll update if/when I get a response.

My neighbors are the epitome of suburbia in the 1950s/Cunt-stab, Connecticut.

Got a response back from one of my realtor associates: they were concerned about possible litigation this site would create from wronged/wrongfully reported home owners, devaluation of homes, and pissed off Home Owner's Associations.

Food for thought.

I would think it would be free speech up to a point, but then again - what security features are in place to keep malicious posting of terrible neighbors for personal or random reasons?
