I've seen a few coraesine weapons in action with double flares, but never four strikes in a row. What's its loresong look like?

LOL! It's the one I WAS selling a little bit ago for 40m.. almost had a buyer.. but he turned out to be wasting my time, Anyways.. I rolled up a Erithian Warrior, and am enjoying using it.

I've been holding onto this thing since the first grand auction.. just never had a character well suited for it.

Originally it was for Siobhana, but I forgot an elf has thats massive Discipline penalty,which is one of the 2 stats you need for the blade to behave. S its been waiting.. and waiting.

Now its home, happy, and in use.

PS: I swing it with another longsword using 2 weapon combat, and with wspec its a true joy. My only hiccup was that it's base WAS 'a modified sword', which was the Ice Age equivalent to longsword... I had to convert it at the Weapons Shop... but its all good now.

PPS: Almost forgot.. it does that pretty much every 3 to 5 swings.. not sure why.. and it has NEVER attacked me.. not once.. Also.. the air flares are positively vicious... and really seem to enjoy blowing out the opponents eyeballs. Almost always fatal, or stuns them so long its really unimportant that they survived. I swing at a ranger wearing wall of thorns and all his spells, hes 40 ranks above me, with 8x equipment. I got sleep poison for missing, it blew out his right eye and stunned him for a nice long time

And the DIS issue is obviously inspired by your having a young Elf, as they are naive to their own longevity and therefor suffer disciplining issues according to the officials, the last time I checked.

Personally, I couldn't have written a better excuse if I was assigned that particular storyline.

In summation, reset your age, because 900 is the new 250.

Yours can do a couple of interesting tricks, but they are largely useless. They are also limited in availability. How often do you get to use them?

Mine however, has SUPERIOR flaring and swinging capacity to yours, with no limitation of application. Not only that, but its automatic. I need do nothing but swing, it handles everything else.

Three MORE aspects make mine superior to yours.

1)I can trade it to any one of my characters should I so choose.

2)Mine has NEVER attacked me, and for some reason i doubt it ever will.

3)Mine is actually being used as my primary weapon, and not alloted to a huge pile items in/on my personal inventory, having to compete for my attention with SO MANY other unique items as to make the entire collection while interesting... largely meaningless and useless.

this is as far as my bard can get for the loresong..... but he's not very old.

As you sing, your vision clouds over and a scene unfolds for you. A pair of hands, weathered and strong from long hours at the forge, tirelessly pump air through a huge bellows.

As you continue to sing, your field of view widens. A sturdy dwarf works at a blazing hot forge. Slowly he turns a thick slab of shimmering metal in the coals until it glows an intense white. Soon he stops pumping the bellows and removes the metal from the fire to begin working it into a weapon.

As you continue to sing, you see the dwarven smith place the weapon inside the fire, heating it once again. With carefully placed strokes he finishes shaping the weapon. As he completes the work he drops it into a a barrel of water in an explosion of steam.

You sense that the longsword is of a time long past. The smith carefully lays the weapon aside and an old dwarf wisened with age takes it up. The old dwarf begins chanting over it in a rough gutteral voice. As you watch, power radiates from his hands and encompasses the weapon. When it is finished, the weapon begins to glow with power.

I've always thought of making an Mstriking TWC character with two of these. I also remember, although I might be wrong, that I had a morphing coraesine weapon that I got from the 99 auctions. I've asked many times, but never have found if it still exists. Anyone?
