Definately VERY CLOSE to being down if not down. But that's part of the game ... I don't want to hear any fucking whining or bullshit about this if it comes down to it.

The crazy thing about that game was the jags offense played amazing. The Pats just played even better. Incredible. I wish they had started bringing some defensive pressure a bit earlier, but alas.

I didn't want to be all Pats rock in this thread since Sean was all happy to be giving the Jags props, but this was a great game. I give the Jags props for being tough, that Jones-Drew guy is a beast. He seemed to carry like three guys on his back most of the game..heh.
Nice game, but glad it ended the way it did.

It's not that I was giving the Jags props... it was just rooting against the cheater Pats.

I actually heard a good explanation about this the other day. The reason nobody really made a huge deal about the Spygate thing is because everyone does it. Pats just got caught. I think it's a pretty valid remark because we really only heard complaints for that week, and little else has been said since.

Everyone does try it, but it was a huge deal the Patriots lost 250k and a 1st round pick (luckily we had 2 and the one we didnt lose is a top 10) Plus Billy got fined 500k (then recieved a contract extension with a 500k bonus a week later weird..)
