Having Worked with enchanting for a while and gaining a fairly good grasp on the subject, my girlfriend and I have deisded to offer our services to people. I thought I might offer it to the friends and members of this board first. But I do have something I want to ask first.

What does everyone feel is a fair price for a wizard to ask for the higher enchants? I've settled on the 0-4x enchanting costs, as I like how Tsoran has it set up, and it makes sense to me. But I was wondering..what does sound fair for above 4x? Please be honest on this. None of that "5k!" crap. I'm trying to really figure this out. :)

For REAL friends I might consider potion costs and whatever incidentals come up. To people your acqaunted to perhaps like 300,000 to 600,000 I guess. To anyone else, I'd go a million and up. Make sure they don't make a profit off the bloody thing.

You could check out some of the professional enchanter prices and mark off that or something. Since the high end enchantments are so restricted, whatever you deem right is pretty much fair. You've got to figure out what your own time is worth heh.

Id say 1m for a 4x-5x is fair, and around 3m for a 5x-6x, no clue about 6x-7x

Check out our enchant website. It's http://www.geocities.com/tenkenesrv. That's what we charge strangers. We cut deals with our friends.

Well, I was thinkin maybe 1-2mil for 5x, 3 mil or so for 6x, and 5mil or so for 7x. This is lower then some prices, but higher then some prices. Of course I'd be cutting deals for friends (meaning real friends) and a smaller, but still nice deal for people I "know" and PC members :)

I don't know enchant yet. Friends of mine have done minor (4x) enchants for me at cost of potions. I don't have a need to go higher and it looks like it will be a real, real long time before I learn 925 so with that in mind I say charge a bit less than the landing median. The landing tends to gourge prices so if you duck below the curve you will be at a resonable rate.

I've found that it is easier to enchant my own items for profit than it is to get folks to pay a reasonable price. This way I need not be concerned about destroying something, and I do not feel rushed.

750k for 5x, that sounds fair, maybe even 500k, if others are paying for the potions, I mean people are only getting like 50-100k for 4x. But hey, I aint gonna tell others what to do, just my suggestion as a customer. I was going to enchaint my chain to 5x, but then I can sing better armor now anyways.
