There is a comment (because I know video game makers like to make official press releases through youtube comments) that yoda/vader will be split across the consoles xbox/ps3.

Any idea on the validity of that? I don't feel like looking anything up. God I hope not.

I don't think it'll be the main aspect of the game, kind of like Link, Spawn and Hiawhatever in SC3. If they're unlockable characters that aren't part of the normal storyline, then it's fine with me.

They're kind of like unlockable cheat codes, you discount them from the countinuity of the game.

For serious. SF4 and the new SC better both have online multi player on them. It's 2008 and I don't have a fucking jet pack, the least I can hope for is being able to play fighting games online.

The urge to play as a Jedi is going to make it really hard to stick with Mitsurugi though.

Fans should note that Darth Vader is an exclusive character in the PlayStation 3 build of the game, whereas Yoda will flip into the air and take down enemies exclusively on Xbox 360.

Personally, I'm not a fan of this decision. But, having Darth on PS3 is probably the only thing that makes me want to buy one.

What's worse is that this might actually work if you could then play Yoda vs Vader... but as it is you can only expect the ultra-idiots to buy two copies.

If they sold a "deluxe edition" at $70 instead of $50, that contained both characters I bet that would sell rather well (to moderate idiots, obviously).

Well I haven't seen it said that there wont be specifically but I'm thinking they decided SC Legends was the SC4 replacement for the Wii with the new graphics they are tossing in it.
