Is there anyway I can download videos from youtube? I know you could do it before but I never had a need for it and now I found a few clips I would like to make a dvd with

I used to have a Firefox plugin but since that stopped working I use that website. You'll get a file that you'll need to save in the .flv format. At that point you'll need to convert it from FLV to whatever you want to use (avi, mpg, wmv, etc.). I recommend using SUPER for that. It's not the most user friendly GUI but it's free and it's probably one of the best converters out there even considering the ones you pay for.

With those two you're good to go. I use it all the time to convert youtube clips into .mp3s for ringtones on my phone. Just today I made one for my friend from the 90s xmen cartoon theme. My sister is Cute With Chris reading Buy U A Drank. It's a very useful program.
