All the Simu site says. I was wondering if anyone knows more specific stuff. And has tips on where to find all the grass/bark stuff. How much mana/time does it normally take to make the things?

614 · Imbue [IMBUE]
Duration: Immediate

Type: Utility

Imbue allows a Ranger to take a piece of natural, organic material and alter it by channeling energy into the object, changing its basic structure. The result will allow the object to be turned into a magical item by someone with the spell Magic Item Creation. The amount of mana the new magical item will hold is dependent upon a dedication to the Ranger Spell Circle, the Mana Control, Spiritual skill, and the Discipline and Intuition stat bonuses.

Rangers can cast imbue at foraged items such as sticks, mezereon bark, tree bark, wyrmwood bark and wiregrass. Below is a table that describes the item that can be imbued, the magical item it can become, and the maximum amount of mana it can hold.

Item Magical Item Max Mana
stick wand 40
stick rod 80
mezereon/tree/wyrmwood bark amulet 50
wiregrass bracelet/anklet 50

Training in Spiritual Lore, Summoning increases the maximum mana capacity by an additional +1 mana at 1 rank up to an additional +13 mana at 91 ranks.

If the ranger first casts the spell Nature's Touch (625) she is able to use Imbue indoors.

Some organic objects, due to their structure, may be unaffected by this spell.

if you are around the landing go into the grassy fields south of the bridge on the way to voln. There are a few rooms there that i used to forage for wiregrass when I still had Elrodin.

seems psinet has the same info as officials. As far as time and mana to make the objects, I think its a flat 14 mana per cast, so time and all would depend on how many you are making and how old your ranger is. Having at least 24 ranks of spirit share and being even in ranger circle ranks is a good way to go.

Doesn't it take a lot more than one cast to make a wand/rod though? I seem to recall seeing Portous running around making them a few times and he would use multiple casts.

Check Virilneus's(sp) site for forage info...grass and bark are common to forest areas.

And anyone know how much time it takes for a room to regen or recoup from being foraged out? Think its like 5 items and its done for a bit?

appx 15 minutes for the room to regen the weeds, and yes, it's 5 weeds.

If you're in Illistim....the area around sprites is great for bark and sticks, not so sure about grass.

yes it does take a few casts to make the rod/wand. It all ties in to the ranger circle ranks and spirit mana share though. If you have buttloads of ranks then you wont need as many casts and youll spit out more rods than wands. I think thats how it works anyway, I havent played a ranger in a few years now.

I haven't either. Not since like my first year playing GS3. Was thinking about raising one up for imbeds though. Think I still have a lvl 10-12 one I made a long time ago.

I was over 40 and made more rods than wands. Singled in ranger spells with 24 ranks of share. That was before they changed how the spell worked though. never tried it in its current form.
