Hermit Directions Please

Hi,

Can someone point out where I might find the hermit, I realize this is a n00b
question, but alas, I am a n00b. I play during the night, there is not a lot
of people around and sometimes someone needs a drag there.. this has happened a few times to me. Thanks in advance,

east side og town hall of the arkati.

GO STRUCTURE
GO SOUTH
GO ALCOVE
GO DOOR
GO WEST x2
get out a cheap gem and
PUT <gem type> in door
unbless yer a vaalor elf then you just knck or somehting
G DOOR
GO PASSAGEWAY
wait for the hermit to do his thing
when you go tapestry or wherever he shows you to go after he raises, walk around and look behind tools/urn/cobwebs tell you see a crevice.
GO CREVICE and this will put you in the catacombs west side of town with the fanged rodents. grab a map a voila, yer done!
