Auction Earcuffs

Looking for any of the earcuffs from Ebons, that allow you to understand X language. PM with which one you have, and how much you'd consider letting me rip it away from you for!

No, they aren't worth that much to everyone. It is just that the people that got them are going to be VERY loathe to give them up.

The elven one is likely never going anywhere. I very much doubt the Faendryl or Dhe'nar-si ones are going to move. I am unsure who owns the Dark elf one, though it may have been passed on. You heard Augie on those other two. I think either Jolena/Stunseed owns the Sylph one, and I doubt they are looking to sell, but who knows?

That leaves all the other lesser races. No idea who owns the dwarf, gnome, etc etc ones. I've yet to see one for sale, though.

I've got the gnome one. Already sent a PM. I think a few of them got traded in for the alternate prizes at the EG. I know I wouldn't just put mine up for sale; when I first got it and voiced my lack of enthusiasm for it, I got some fairly insulting offers.

Obviously, the most desired one is the Elven Earcuff, which I am fairly certain is owned by Raelee(sp). She has expressedly stated she will never move it. I know who owns the Faendryl one, and short of selling out will never sell it. Same for the Dhe'nar-si one.

So accounted for Earcuffs:

Faendryl, Elven, Dhe'nar-si, Sylvan(pretty sure), Gnome, Giant, and Halfling.

Missing, N/A Earcuffs:

Dwarf, Erithi, Dark Elf, and Half-krol

Humans and Halfbreeds don't have earcuffs, and I think they combined the gnome languages.

Didn't mean to out you if it was a secret, Stun, but I believe you've stated you two owned it at one time or another publically.

I bought it for Jolena, because she wanted it so badly. She'd never sell it, and we're prolly going to get the figurine that speaks Sylvan for her in the near future as well ( when/if Augie reopens her account ).

Right. The earcuffs let you hear the language. They were given out at the Auction at last year's Ebon Gate.

The figurines given/sold/raffled by Lady Bone at the free Ebon Gate in 2005 allow you to whisper through them and speak the language.

I *think* the figurine does the speaking, and not the character, but I'm not entirely sure.

And then there are the spectacles that let you read the languages. Kembal got his at last year's EG Auction as well I believe.

Those are all the language-associated items I can think of.
